Parish priest Father Ted Mullen has celebrated the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.
We thank God for his ministry. After mass today (Sunday February 21st), Father Ted received a presentation gift from the parish, and an RAF print from Deacon John Burrows. He said it had been a privilege to serve and he thanked the grace of God for being with him every day of his ministry. A large group of parishioners gathered in the hall afterwards to share wine and cakes and congratulate him. |
