Bishop visits Sacred Heart |
Bishop William Kenny is coming to Sacred Heart on Sunday June 14th to celebrate the sacrament of confirmation.
He will be celebrating the sacrament at the 9.30am mass. If you wish to be confirmed, please sign the list on the noticeboard in the narthex. Anyone from Year 6 onwards is eligible to apply.
Bishop William Kenny also made an official visit to the parish on the weekend of January 16 and 17.
He celebrated both masses and visited the sick. He met parishioners after both masses. The bishop praised the liturgy, the musicians, and the prayer life of the parish. He said liturgy and prayer were the most important things about parish life. He praised the altar servers but said we needed more of them.
The bishop urged everyone to continue to pray for vocations. |
