The next meeting of Sacred Heart Parish Pastoral Council is on Saturday September 3rd and will be a special meeting to consider the future of the parish.

A new group has been formed at Sacred Heart to discuss the Sunday Gospel readings. Everyone is invited to join the group. It meets next on Thursday August 11th at 1.45pm in the hall.
Sacred Heart parishioner Paul Hulme is taking part in another series of swims to raise money for Zoe's Place Baby and Infant Hospice. It is very easy to sponsor him - and it can be done online if you have access to the internet.

The UCM has handed over a cheque for 2,000 pounds towards the new toilet facilities at Sacred Heart. Work is expected to start within the next few weeks.
